David Gibson I was at this show...I'd heard one song, "Haven't Got a Clue," on 120 Minutes and decided to go with some friends. The Real People opened for them, and the only other song I knew at the time was their cover of Diamond Dogs by Davis Bowie. Met and spoke to the band after the show even. Became a big fan of their music basically discovering their albums in reverse...I was 16 at the time. Dramarama Mar 14, 2024
Walter Winsor What a great memory. Valentines Day and a great concert. The Reflex / The Police Mar 14, 2024
Walter Winsor This concert must have been a late addition between Chicago and Detroit. It does not appear on Santana's past concert list, but I vividly remember the show. I was so amazed at how they fit all the band's equipment on the small stage. It was a monumental show and I saw every regional Santana concert I could from 1975 to when I moved out of Ohio in 1984.  Jason Worthley A night of firsts for me. First time seeing Dropkick Murphys and they did not disappoint. The whole show was just a very positive atmosphere. Coincidentally the last time I was in show with such positive vibes was another Boston band, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, back in the 90s I believe. Pennywise was great to finally see. So weird seeing bands I knew when they were kids, and they are all men now. They did a cover of Fight for Your Right to Party by The Beastie Boys. The opening band was straight from Dublin, Ireland, called The Scratch and they put on a great show. Not sure what kind of drum kit they had but it looked like he was just hitting two mics to a speaker. And when the bass hit, hoooooly, you could feel it through your gut. Great show! Dropkick Murphys / Pennywise / The Scratch Mar 13, 2024
Paul Davey Free Communist Party Festival, great vibe, stages at both ends of the park. After each band, the audience turns around!! Front to back so to speak..what a trip The Stranglers / The Godfathers Mar 13, 2024
Cookie from memory, support band were The Candy Harlots, and didn't the crowd love them !? NOT!! The came on this towering slouching figure in Craig Bloxom, wielding his bass like he was ready to do battle. and the crowd lapped it up as they cheered and roared at fever pitch, Cliify on drums, saluting with his sticks on each beat, his kit was like a battle armament. Michael Wiley was like a silent virtuoso, plucking and strumming his way through classic song after classic... Spy vs Spy Mar 13, 2024
