 Fantomos Notes from my scrapbook. Narrated by my 21-year=old self: " My god was this one of the best shows I went to! We arrived about 2 songs before Dope finished their set. Static was da bomb and so many people landed on my head I think I got brain damage. Then Fear Factory hit the stage- it was over!! The place went fucking crazy. Tony & Koichi from Static came and helped out on a couple of songs. So did Dope. Then Burt announced that it was Dino's Birthday and these strippers came out and gave Dino a lap dance while the band played. They also did " Angel of Death. This was a good show. I got to sing the chorus of a song the singer put the mic in my face and i screamed the chorus "ANGER!!". Then Fear Factory came on. Burton said" There's something corrupting kids minds...its MTV!! Me & Ruben were sitin in the back of Letty's truck drinking Slurpees and Southerin Comfort. When we got there Monster Magnet was opening up for them. But me and Ruben just walked around and looked and girls. But when da real music started we headed back and banged our heads! Stmped our feet and grooved. It was da shit! Loud as Hell! We didnt have earplugs. Me & Letty were talking abut what we liked about Courtney Love. I also got a souvenir shirt. I always try to have fun at a good show. ( even though we had shitty seats). All the bands were cool, except the band Speak No Evil. There were the guys from that band Mygrain. Shit, I thought I saw Tarrie B from Tura Satanna! This was the last show before Ozzfest.  Fantomos Notes from my scrap book, by my 21 year old self: "Now ofourse you know this was a bomb-ass show! But the opening band "Videodrone" didn't go over well with the crowd. Infact, I'm gonna go see them on June 8th , so wait till I hear that. When Rob Zombie came on the Pit was Da bomb! Went with a couple of guys from work: Adam, Larry and his brother, Kevin & his girl. Rob had t.v. monitors and when he played a song, its music video would play on the screen. And 2 girls started fighting and one kicked me in the nuts twice, so I had to get away from her. Then Me & Kevin got in the pit and done some damage! When Korn came on everyone from the seats came into the pit. You couldn't even move! Oh yeah, Rob Zombies guitarists spit blood on my shirt! And Korn was da shit! They played all the cool songs. They even had the Korn Kage where contest winners got to stay onstage. There was also some tits flyin around.  Lee Brenkman There is a reason that no setlist exists for Linda Ronstadt from this concert. After the shows at Winterland she had developed laryngitis and could not perform. The band Lamb with singer Barbara Mauritz was the last minute replacement. I was the sound man for that band and we got the call from the BGP office at 9 am that morning.  BigDaddyCLos One of my favorite concerts! My roommate and I snuck backstage and into the scorpions Green Room. Oh and on the way there we passed the guys from Iron Maiden and I got a signed sweat band from Bassist Steve Harris.
