 John Cheesmond True story - we were all of 16, the ladies behind us, deep in the bandstand while the Chain played, pouring rain.. taps me on the shoulder and offers 2 tickets 4th row floor center. Amazing experience and lifelong story I still share at how kind that was… and often wonder who they were.. I’ve often wished I’d asked how it came to be, 2 ladies prob in the 40’, rocked to the Chain in the bandstand, and had floor seats as they were leaving when DM took stage.
