Geologyst great concert but the girl next to me in line vommed on herself bc it was her birthday or something. . . great show lol Hozier / George Ezra Jan 27, 2026
TomB This was a belter - performances by Alice Faye (blue me away!), Guy Garvey & Phil Campbell (as usual) stood out for me and my musical tastes, but most of the others were not far behind e.g. Ashley Campbell (daughter of Glen), James Emmanual, C Duncan and of course Roddy & the band plus John Logan & the brilliant RCS orchestra. The three "backing" singers also gave wonderful renditions of Bridge Over Troubled Water & Nutbush City Limits. What anight! Can't remember hpow much it cost, but whatever it was, once again great value. Long live Roddy Hart. Roaming Roots Revue 2026, Celtic Connections Jan 27, 2026

Bald Fred One of the best parts of the show was Al doing a blazing guitar solo and some clown is at the front of the stage talking on the phone. Al grabs the phone from the guy and says into the phone "he'll effin call you back later". The crowd went wild. I think he gave the guy a guitar pick Al Di Meola Jan 27, 2026

Martin Delaney Firstly, never thought I'd be going to a gig at the former swimming baths in Bath Street Edinburgh! But that was the setting for tonight's intimate hour and a half of musical delights and chat. Had mainly come along to see Ramin Karimloo having been blown away by his performance in the Phantom of The Opera 25th Anniversary DVD. But, Hadley Fraser and Theo Jamieson were very impressive as well. Loads of songs from both Ramin and Hadley but highlights for me were: Music of The Night Till I Hear You Sing At one point Ramin came to sit in the audience to listen t o Hadley signing and sat in the row in front of us, that's how relaxed things were! A rare chance to see these incredible performers up close and personal in a very relaxed atmosphere. Hadley Fraser/Ramin Karimloo Jan 27, 2026
Martin Delaney Had seen the band before so already knew how good they were. Couldn't miss this gig as it was in my home city and this is their last ever tour. Highlights of the night for me were: Gold I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man Get Off Let's Go Crazy Diamonds and Pearls The Cross U Got The Look Raspberry Beret Controversy 1999 Baby I'm A Star I Would Die 4 U When Doves Cry Tonight was a reminder of just how many great songs Prince released. Was lucky enough to see the real thing live several times and he was a true one-off talent. New Purple Celebration - The Music Of Prince Jan 27, 2026
Martin Delaney More of an extension of his YouTube podcast series than a gig as such. But, was still entertaining and there was some music interspersed withing the chat throughout the evening. The first half of the show was mainly Justin chatting about his life, including some video of the actual studio where he films Justin Hawkins Rides Again. I guess you could say what happens in the studio stays in the studio lol. There was a few tunes with Justin on acoustic, and his pal Softy got up to accompany him on a tasty looking Gibson Les Paul. After the interval, the second half started with a tune from local musician Marley Davidson on keyboard and vocals. Marley then accompanied Justin on a few songs to hilarious effect. Justin then brought on Edinburgh rising stars Swim School for a chat as well as a live reaction to one of their tunes. Overall an entertaining evening with loads of laughs and anecdotes. Would I go and see it again? maybe not, but good to see Justin in an intimate setting and doing something different as well as showcasing local talent. Justin Hawkins Jan 27, 2026
