 AJM I saw so many bands growing up in Byron Bay in the 1990s mostly at The Arts Factory (colloquially known as The Piggery in reference to the previous business operating out of the venue which was a Piggery Slaughterhouse) It’s now The Arts Factory Backpackers Lodge. Although occasionally further afield like the now infamous gig - Violent Femmes with NIRVANA as the SUPPORT ACT at Fisho’s (Fisherman’s Wharf Pub) on the Gold Coast Australia 🇦🇺 it was wild as Smells Like Teen Spirit had just gone literally off the charts but Nirvana completed their tour as the support act.  Faye D Wow! I can’t believe it took this long for me to see Alice Cooper! Good thing the man is immortal. He puts on a show better than performers 2/3s his age. His voice is unchanged and while he doesn’t do handsprings, he certainly gets around the stage. I had a friend who went to a Disturbed show in a different city the same night Alice Cooper played here. We exchanged videos the next day and David Draiman was like a stick in the mud. Alice Cooper is a major league performer and he could have gone all night if he had performed all his hits. It was seriously impressed and glad I got the chance to see him. Alice Cooper May 09, 2023

 bbq this is not the only dokken and great white concert. I catered the backstage bbq for these two bands at the nipomo speedway in 1999. Dokken got their tour bus bottomed out crossing the speedway and I pulled them out with my lifted and built 4x4. good times that summer was lots of bands to bbq for. Dokken & Great White May 06, 2023
