 dring Went with a buddy who didn't have an advance ticket. Got there early. NO TICKETS AVAILABLE. SOLD OUT. Hung around with him for awhile trying to buy one to no avail. Like a good friend, I sold mine for $25 and we headed down the street to Ziggy's. They checked my ID and stamped me when we went in. Grabbed a beer and was resigned to the fact that I was going to miss LITTLE FEAT consoling myself that we had beer money for the evening. After about 30 minutes we heard the opening of FAT MAN IN THE BATHTUB...Something came over me and I said "come on" . We RAN the block back to Baity's and joined the throng going in to the show. I held up my hand to show the stamp I had gotten at Ziggy's as I was herded in. IT WORKED. WE BOTH WERE IN...FOR FREE. What a night.  jfortier62 We moved to Wheaton from Mooseheart in 1968. We lived on Beecher street within walking distance of the DuPage County Fairgrounds. I remember at about age 8 or 9 around 1973 sneaking out with my older brothers and jumping the fence to see a nighttime concert at the fairgrounds. It was described as an acid rock concert. In my mind I always thought it was Iron Butterfly, but I suppose it might have been Focus. Does anyone recall this? Focus Mar 06, 2023

The event took place at a mansion on Capitol Hill and was broadcast live on the radio. Billy answered questions from those that attended (contest winners) and signed autographs.  k9gardner How confident are you that this tour list is complete? I swear that I saw them at Radio City Music Hall in NYC in 1982 or 83, while I was working at Polygram Records. Amazing concert, really brought the house down.
