 Elizabeth Thurotte Great concert. Lovely to see Melody surrounded by such talented musiciens whom she gracefully let them air their talent. Baden Powel’s son, Philip, brought his amazing piano playing to new heights and glided obverse the keyboard to Melody’s delight and admiration. She is much more relaxed in a style that suits her well.. Bringing in strings was also a new approach. The cello player was amazing and let rip.  The Tails The Babys did 88 concerts in 1980. There are 59 concerts missing from this list. John Waite was injured on stage in Cincinnati on December 9, 1980. He did one more show with the band on December 10, 1980 in Akron Oh. This was his and Jonathan Cain's last show with The Babys. Jonathan joined Journey in January 1981.
