 kwyjibo2112 I can't believe it has been 27 years today that we went to this show. Counterparts is my favorite post 1980s RUSH album. My younger brother and I took our mom to this show. Seeing her singing the chorus of The Spirit Of Radio was the best part, for us. Having her go with us was such a surprise to us because we were just kids in 1979, when the Who show in Cincinnati went to pot. My parents were convinced that If we went to a concert, something terrible would happen to us. The worst thing that has happened at any show I've been to was at this show, when a guy from Candlebox's crew ran out on stage during their last song and mooned the crowd. A bonus that no photos were taken of that. My favorite RUSH concert to date. Rush / Candlebox May 04, 2021

 wiley58nc This concert list is a crock of shit. l saw Skynyrd 3 times at the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, NC and not a damn one of them is on this list. First time it was Grinderswitch, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Skynyrd. Second time was Charlie Daniels then Skynyrd. Third time it was Goose Creek Symphony, Z Z Top then Skynyrd.  KBarley 44 years ago this evening John Messer and Michael Dean and I saw Dolly Parton at The Great Southeast Music Hall on Piedmont Road in Atlanta where beer was served in buckets and the concert attendees sat on carpeted steps. Tickets were $4.00 - $5.00. I remember one good ol boy who must have had one too many buckets of beer kept yelling "Dolly, I love you!". Dolly, finally put down her guitar and said, " Darlin', I love you too, but you're wrecking my show! ". He apologized. She giggled, told him it was o.k. and went back to singing.  kb Pink Floyd wasn't there, something about their equipment being stolen. I think Bloodrock ended up opening. They opened for GFR most of the time around DFW.
