 BarneyRubble We drove down to Tampa for this from Jacksonville where I was stationed with the USN. Two cars, we all bought some microdot and entered hours early to get as close to the stage as possible, and we were close. Prior to the performance time, it was getting dark by then, several greasy, long hair dudes came out in Jeans and TShirts and began to tune up they instruments. Didn't realize until later that these guys were the band members. Just prior to the concert starting, there were these people in head to toe black outfits that climbed up into a Flood Light Lift sorta thing that could hover directly over the band members. Of course I was tripping my azz off so maybe I imagined it but I don't think so. When Pink Floyd came out they didn't say a word, just started to play Sheep.  BarneyRubble I was sick as a dog from the previous week seeing Fleetwood Mac at the Tangerine Bowl in Orlando. Couldn't miss a chance to see Led Zeppelin though. We saw them for three songs, the rain stopped and they had left the stadium. The cops made sure we all went home. Lot's of billy clubs and bottles flying. Led Zeppelin Dec 11, 2025
