You most likely saw them at Academy of Music after the live lp came out. Check out a copy of Duane jamming with the DEAD at Fillmore in 70, amazing stuff. and what I wrote is all true.  Paul Dud There are rocks in your head ! Do you really expect people to believe the bullshit story you post about Duane Allman ? I saw them at a concert in N.Y.C. , summer 1971. We were stoned,, I do not remember the concert hall or the date. I did not know their names at the time. They were new to New York City and rock n roll at the time. Hardly no one knew them until the end of 1971 ! Sad that Duane's death had made them more popular. Had Duane lived another 10 years longer , Led Zepplin and the Who would have second to the Allman Brothers and the Band during the 1970's. ! In one of his last interviews on youtube, Frank admits, that the doctors made sure they didn't tell him he had cancer until it was too late ! FZ got what he deserved in the end !
