The stage had no recognizable theme, the lights uninspired, the performance was flawless though devoid of distinguishing character and the songs are, to my ear, paint by number folk-rock simulacra.  Georges A. Gauthier Beach House hasn't changed it's minimalist show in the last 6 years. Legrand occasionally throws her hair up against the abstract backdrop while Scally mostly sits with his guitar. Static as statues in the dark. They play their music, little else.
