 Georges A. Gauthier Day one. Arcade Dire were in true form. Having seen them a dozen times since 2005 I was ecstatic to see the new show was a return to form.  Georges A. Gauthier years (nearly to the day) since I last saw Julien Baker , her sound is fuller & richer. Her band now encapsulates & elevates her like a signature dish accompanied by dessert & wine. I also never grow tired of her aerial voice teaching emotional heights. But the band is somewhat diminished, Lindemann’s voice is not as powerful & the feel of the music is replaced by pyrotechnics & lights.
