 🤘 Metalholica 🙋 I met Peter after a club show he played at Interactions in Stone Park, Illinois sometime in 1995. The place was a shithole! 💩🤣 I don't remember the exact date just the year. I had brought my KISS Peter Criss solo album with me (as did other fans) hoping that maybe he would autograph it. He rushed passed me and the other fans on his way to the dressing room (which was actually the clubs kitchen) saying "FUCK OFF" to all of us that were hoping to get autographs. Then he told the clubs bouncer to run us off. I got pissed and yelled "FUCK YOU TOO, YOU HAS BEEN COKE HEAD FUCKWAD!!" Ya, I was fuckin pissed, as was everyone else waiting there. Then less/more a year later he's back in KISS? He's the reason I became a drummer. Like it's been said, sometimes your "hero's" are fucking asshole!! Ya, still to day I say "FUCK THAT FUCK"!!! However, one of the greatest experiences of my time with Blue Rodeo was when we played with Kris Kristofferson at the (Molson Canadian) Ampitheatre in Toronto. It was a very large crowd — 10,000-plus. Kris opened the show, and then he joined us onstage. During the encore, he was singing ‘Knocking On Heaven’s Door,’ and then there was an instrumental break. He was smiling at me, and he leaned into my ear and said, ‘You know, Jim, sometimes the good guys win.’ I was so flattered and flabbergasted. I’ve always been a huge admirer of Kris Kristofferson.  Martin Delaney Brilliant night and 3 bands was just the right amount as a warm up for the full day event the following day. Sweet Electric were a new discovery for me and great fun with great tunes.
