gruberj great punk show with Ava - and also hung some with Barry, who I have been running into at punk shows. WF have amazing energy and a great sound that has the energy of punk but is more pop-punk edged. A great combination. Lots of moshing but I just jumped around and enjoyed it! love this venue - 4.5/5 Winona Fighter / Impossible Dog Jul 14, 2025

stephenhuerta What an amazing show. I wasn’t familiar with any new Gong music, but this band kicked some major arse. I had planned to be in San Diego for both, my doctors appointments, and to see Gong, OMG, I sure am glad I did. I got to the venue very early, hoping to visit the coffee and snack shop, but they weren’t open. But it’s cool, it allowed me to go in and sit down early. I caught both opening acts, which honestly weren’t very good. I guess Taz Taylor wasn’t too bad. The wait for Gong was definitely worth it. The amazing “om riff” (I believe that’s what they call it) was hot. I wish I had taken some pictures afterwards, but my biggest concern was trying to get an Uber or taxi back to my hotel, in San Diego, which was about 30-40 minutes away. So taking pics wasn’t the priority. Lyft got me back to San Diego, so all in all, it was an amazing show. Gong / Taz Taylor Band Jul 13, 2025

Kyp At the now academy 3, supported by Rollerskate Skinny. The tickets were taken off us at the door, but we found them on the steps on the way out, which is why they are so grubby. The gig was cigarette smoke filled and loud. My ears rang for a couple of days afterwards. It was a great set from the Boos and a mix of the recently released giant steps and everything's alright. One of my favourite gigs. The Boo Radleys Jul 13, 2025
Ty Ford I was working at WAYE-AM and MC'd the show that night. Neil Harpe did an opening set. I played with him. It was a difficult night for me. I got the flu the day before. Roy Buchanan / Ellen McIlwaine Jul 13, 2025

Jamie N The film “Once” went on a small North American tour in 2007, after winning the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award. Fox Searchlight picked up the film after it won said award, but didn’t know what to do with it, so it took Glen, Mar, & John on an old-school tour with the film to drum up interest before it was distributed and officially released in theaters. Glen and Mar performed a short set of songs from the film after the Q&A. Markéta Irglová and Glen Hansard Jul 13, 2025
