Mitchell M aka BassBonez I was 14 years old and attended with my 15 year old friend. So many incredible memories from this incredible show. The Toronto Rock Festival / Dream Island Concert Jun 10, 2026
Heather Porter Their opening band might’ve been Corey, which was a band that had 2 demos and then maybe had to change their name? I lost track of them. Anyway, their song, “Falling to Pieces” still lives in my soul. Them as openers were likely what got me to that show. Which I have no regrets about. This show also was the one that opens SoCo’s “ I Woke up in a Car” about playing in NYC and Poughkeepsie the next day. Something Corporate Jun 10, 2026

Bruce Warren I was at the Neil Diamond Cow Palace Concert in February 1979. He started the concert with Forever in Blue jeans. He started the concert late because it had been raining and there were delays on the freeways for people getting to the concert. He was awesome. What a privilege to have heard him in person!  Ken Arber This was a replacement show. Originally Judas Priest had been booked as the headliner, however for reasons now lost to my memory they cancelled and UFO took the date. The ‘classic’ lineup: Phil Mogg, Pete Way, Andy Parker, Michael Schenker and Paul Raymond. I was stage front, no crush barriers in those days! As they tore into the opening number Phill Mogg jumped and his landing caused Schenker’s beloved white Flying V to fall out of its stand and the headstock snap clean off! The resulting and unsurprising ‘sulk’ that followed thankfully didn’t detract from the show with Schenker continuing with his black ‘V’. Perhaps one of the last shows where they played Boogie for George. UFO Jun 09, 2026

GaryAura Hi Tony Faro - Do you remember if Slaughter & The Dogs actually played at this gig - Cos I don't remember them & have vague memory they pulled out & didn't play..?? - Also, seems we went to a few of the same gigs..! I also went Killing Joke gig, but can't for the life of me remember where? Wherever it was - I clearly remember Jaz's manic face singing into a mic above his Oberheim synth, which was perched on top of a packing case..!! What a sound: "The Wait" - Brilliant UK Subs / Slaughter & The Dogs / Cyanide & the Fourth Reich Jun 09, 2026
