Crooners, swooners, musical gold miners, & back-up singers de jour for many a Melbourne artist, The Ukeladies specialise in long forgotten Hawaiian inspired tunes & dreamy interpretations of more recent gems. Starting out as a delicate 2 piece ukelele & harmony combo, these childhood friends AMANDA ROFF & MAYLISE DENT, have since enlisted several luminary musicians & friends such as CLARE MOORE on vibes & percussion, PHIL KAKULAS on double bass, DAN LUSCOMBE on guitars etc., amongst others.
