Neighborhood Theatre is a cornerstone of Charlotte's vibrant, walkable NoDa Historic Arts District, surrounded by many of the city's favorite restaurants, bars, breweries, and local shops. Originally built as the Astor Theatre in 1945 during the postwar movie theater boom, the venue was transformed into a live music destination in 1997. Today, Neighborhood Theatre has earned a reputation as one of the nation's premier intimate concert venues, hosting national and international touring artists alongside Charlotte's emerging local talent.
