stevo58 I was there with my girlfriend of the time. They only opened one door; it was GA; it was a mess. I watched a documentary about it a couple of years ago where they recreated the scene outside and I must say it was pretty accurate; all the fear came back up. I was a student in Oxford then. My ‘73 Beetle had no working radio. I walked through the door and my roommate said “nice to see you are still alive.” Huh? All my siblings had called to see if I hade made it. I have a few bad photos somewhere; I’ll see if I can find them and I’ll post them. The Who Jan 20, 2026

Robyn LaFrance So, a Black Dog was standing out front of the theater, and as we all slowly climbed the c. 1910 stairs to the tiny balcony, someone says “Stairway to Heaven”….priceless! I had to look back down the steps to that voice and say “did you see the Black Dog out front?!!” A beautiful and joyful show! Saving Grace / Suzi Dian / Rosie Flores Jan 20, 2026

Robyn LaFrance I was a huge Bob Marley fan and I took several photos from my boyfriend’s shoulders. We arrived early and were close to the stage. A few years ago a friend showed me that this concert is on You Tube. I tried to find us on the video and my pictures match up to some of the noticeable heads in the crowd, but mostly it’s a sea of blur and I can’t see us. My boyfriend died the following year in a car accident (12/6/80) and Bob Marley died a short time after that in 1981. I was really hoping to see us in the crowd. This was a fantastic event. I had the t-shirt I bought for $6 for a long time and wore it proudly. Dick Gregory’s speech at this event is still relevant today. We lived in the same town as he did. Look him up! I’m so glad we were here at this remarkable event. Bob Marley & The Wailers / Patti LaBelle Jan 20, 2026
Robyn LaFrance We had come to absolutely love The Kinks after seeing them a few times before this show. Our grandfather had just passed away and my sister and I were glad that we could still make it out to the Berkshires to this concert with our boyfriends and be back in time for our grandfather’s Monday wake and funeral. We were Dedicated Followers of Fashion! The Kinks were phenomenal! I was 15 and we drove 1 car, 4 people, and looking at the ticket now, we all paid .50 cents parking. If I can find our pictures I’ll add them… The Kinks / Mick Ronson Jan 20, 2026
