 Scott Holcomb The venue was the Network club in Pasadena, MD. The band was scheduled to open for Ratt at the Baltimore Civic Center but the tour was cancelled.  Scott Holcomb I remember this show as the first time I heard Metallica. It was crazy hot on this day but the outdoor pavilion was packed for the opening act. Every guy had a denim jacket on and their fist was in the air the entire show. I recall James being injured (skateboard accident?) and did not play guitar on this evening. To be honest, I was not a big fan of most of the songs but it was obvious to me this band was going to be huge.  Ron Colvard You're right riccas59, the show was at the Assembly Center. They played there on June 22, 1976, which was my 16th birthday. Aerosmith has always been one of my favorite bands, especially so to a 16 year old kid. Fast forward 50 years, I'm now 66 and still remember that show fondly.
