Bill Mair	On Thursday, June 16, 1977, Blue Öyster Cult played the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium. This highly anticipated performance was part of their legendary "Agents of Fortune" tour and featured the progressive rock band Utopia as their supporting act. Utopia, led by Todd Rundgren, was touring in support of their album Oops! Wrong Planet. Utopia featured members Todd Rundgren, Kasim Sulton, Roger Powell, and Willie Wilcox. They were a terrific quartet with awesome playing, vocal harmonies and a powerful sound. Both RA and Oops were released the same year and the combined show featured music from both records. It was kind of the pinnacle of the visuals with the pyramid that Todd would climb, and Sphinx background behind the drums as well as great lighting. The June 1977 Ontario stop kicked off a broader Canadian run that also included shows in Ottawa, Toronto, London, Winnipeg, and Saskatoon.	Blue Öyster Cult / Utopia (Todd Rundgren)	Jun 17, 2026

Martin Delaney	My first time seeing them live and it was as mind blowing as expected. Thankfully I had read that they barely move or talk on stage so I wasn't put off by that. The background graphics and stage lighting were incredible. The sound was surprisingly loud for The Playhouse and the walls were literally shaking at some points where we were sitting. Standout songs for me where : Computer World Autobahn Computer Love The Model Neon Lights Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence Radioactivity Pocket Calculator The Robots Sadly there were a couple behind us who insisted on chatting a lot during the gig. Mouthforwar70	we had gotten there at like 7-8 am and we just tap the keg ,bottle of jack on ice as well,then dude comes up on us ,trying to get us to buy weed,my buddy threatens him starts going after him.gets broken up dude leaves next thing you know there's a line of scalpers ,t shirt dudes,you name it all lined up what would be the exit ramp coming off i-95 from the south,so we had people rally behind us we didn't even know(tnk you by the way awesome of you guys) so we're saying c'mon let's go well it's been like 5-10:minutes I look around and we have twice the amount of people ,needless to say they backed down,the rest of the day was fucking great,and I got to hear harvester if sorrow for the first time live ,banner day never forget it	Van Halen / Scorpions / Dokken / Metallica / Kingdom Come	Jun 16, 2026
