Georges A. Gauthier Wet Leg Unfortunately the sound was poorly mixed. Voice was nice and clear, but the rest of the band was washed out. Mid-act the bass drum was adjusted way too loud. Rhian has been working on her choreography and arms but she gave an overly rehearsed performance that had a weird low-energy. Overall not nearly as good as the last show. Osheaga 2026 (Day 1 of 3) Aug 01, 2026
Georges A. Gauthier Wolf Alice The whole bands rocks. They have a very polished rockstar presence. But Ellie remains the principal attraction. Pun intended. She sounds great and looks even better. But they have too many ballads. Osheaga 2026 (Day 1 of 3) Aug 01, 2026
Georges A. Gauthier Wunderhorse Above average alt-rock with obvious 90’s grunge influences. They played well and sounded good. In fact, They got better throughout the set, but nothing to really catch my attention. Osheaga 2026 (Day 1 of 3) Aug 01, 2026
Georges A. Gauthier Rio Costal. Tropical Khrangbin five piece. A laidback, groovy way to start Osheaga but more background music. little stage presence. Osheaga 2026 (Day 1 of 3) Aug 01, 2026

IanH Excellent concert. The first concert in over 40 years of Linx although only David Grant was an original. However Junior Giscombe did a cameo for his bit 'Mana used to say'. A real added bonus was Beverly Knight appearing to sing 'Could it be im falling in love' which was amazing. Phil Fearon provided an excellent support act and like Grant still has a lovely voice. Fantastic venue too, although the sound upstairs could have been slightly better. However at £40 a ticket it was superb value for money. Linx featuring David Grant / Phil Fearon & Galaxy Aug 01, 2026
ShakespearesDaughter I recall Neil Young was short-tempered and seemed to hate the audience. He was vocally bitter that more people hadn't enthusiastically purchased the album he was touring, Rust Never Sleeps. (I had in fact purchased it months before and dug the hell out of it, majestic downer that it was, one of his very best albums. Even at 18, I could tell.) He then proceeded to make even more remarks as to our questionable taste in music. I was quite offended; he was dead serious, not trying to be funny. To show how much he couldn't stand us, it was also the shortest concert I'd ever been to, starting bang on time with these weird sand-people-costumed dwarf roadies wheeling in giant props, Neil's bitching, singing a few songs with the band, and then the sand people taking the props away, all in 45 minutes. No suggestion of an encore. Just a job being done, now he's clocking out. I don't know as he even introduced the separate members of the band. I spent money and time driving to depressing Indiana from Chicago to attend this? Never again, mister. Not for this guy. I loved his music and amazing song-writing and still do, but he made me feel most unwelcome THAT night. Neil was punishing us. Neil Young Aug 01, 2026
